I think I’ve seen more McL arens than modern regular cab short bed pickups. You can't even configure the big engine in these anymore. A real shame. There's just something about a muscle truck.

Nothing a large turbo can’t fix.

You can get the 5.0 and 2.7 EB in a regular cab with a 6.5 bed. No 3.5 EB though

I bought a new one last year. Even harder to find was one not in a work truck configuration. With the 2.7 ecoboost and the shortest available gears in back, it positively boogies.

Ditch the tub and throw a short flat bed on it with a roll loop and...win?

Yup... I’ve only seen one of these over the past year. Everything I commonly see is at least an extended cab... but so many 4 door models.

The 2.7L seems to actually accelerate better than both the 5.0L & 3.5L , at least 0-60. Towing is a different story.
The 2.7L in a big supercrew 4x4 will do 0-60 in less than 6.0 seconds, I can’t imagine how it will do in a single cab.

Single cab short-bed Rams seem to be plentiful, but the Chevy and Ford trucks are pretty rare.

A coworker has a nice newer blue one with flares, it’s pretty weird seeing one these days.
